B'sue's Sari Ribbon Blog Hop

to close this is a photo of the group of pieces I mad for the hop. I think you can see where I am going with them and I look forward to posting the completed pieces and others with the list of ideas I have for using sari Ribbon in jewelry.

So very pretty! Great idea to iron the ribbon for a smooth design look.

Great designs, Susan....thanks for the stretch and for putting your ideas together for us. I think you are on to something NEW! And I know you do great quilting, so maybe in the future you can incorporate sari into that, as well....very cool. I am so glad you took the challenge and joined us. Please consider joining B'sue Boutiques Creative Group, if you haven't already http://www.flickr.com/groups/bsueboutiques/ You can post these pix there, too! Along with some of your lovely ceramic work!

Enjoyed your pieces...lovely colors, and the information behind them. Very cool idea to use sari ribbon as a hat! ;o)

It never ceases to amaze me with what one can do with humble materials. Each entry on the hop was eye candy.
I have to learn more computer skills to make better posts.
I have list of things to try with the ribbon. I will past as I finish them. I am also a doll maker and design art doll from time to ting. Some are further down on the blog. I am going to try and "dress" a couple of the doll pieces that I made from my own molds that now have a flat back for jewelry. The sari ribbon will seem like yards of lovely silk for the tiny doll.

Good idea to mix seed beads with the sari ribbon. It's a great combination!

I like that you designed outside the box. Your style is unique! The red hat brooch would probaby be a fave of the red hatters!
